Welcome Back!

So I am Welcoming my self back to the blogging world. I am no going to catch up , but start from where things are now.

Saturday I went to Cheri's baby shower, I can not believe that she is so close to having baby Blakley! I am so excited for them. Tegan learned how to blow a bubble and I was reminded how much work I had to do around the house!

Sunday went to church and was sustained by our ward for ward conference in The RS Presidency and Tegan could not understand why I was standing he kept saying " Sit down mom, sit down, everyone's going to look at you!" I think he was embarrassed or thought I had lost my mind. He later pulled the Fire Alarm. He said " Mom it said lift here!" Did I mention I am so glad he is learning to read! We wnt to my mom's for dinner and Ty, Tegan, Broden, and Granpa played Battleship. It was fun to watch them.

Today started out as the regular day except I did not have 50 loads of laundry and a pile of dishes to do today so that made me smile! Did carpool and Broden was asleep in the car, it was only 9am and that seemed strange since he has only been awake for approx. an hour in a half. He woke up and came to me to tell me he did not feel good. He was burning up 103 to be exact. Gave him medicine and he went back to bed until 12:35pm. During this time I thought to myself what will I do when kids are in school and I am here. I may drive myself crazy! We will have to see when that day comes. My brought some popsicle's, soup and milk over for Broden and stayed for awhile. I did my brother and dads hair today and My mom stayed and visited and ordered cookie dough from Tegan. He is just starting to understand this whole fundraiser thing. Still wondering if he gets the money, where the money goes and why he does not get to keep all the cookie dough. His mind is for sure growing and learning right now! Emmett my nephew went in for exploratory surgery today. Things went good and they are going to look into the why's of what is happening. Nothing with his heart at this point so it was a good day for him.

A Day of Frustration and Love

Today was full of the ups and downs of parenting! Of Tegan showing me he is a big boy and getting up and ready and eating all of his breakfast without me having to remind him at all. Then coming home and rushing around the house clean microwave, self clean oven on, washer loaded and going, Broden dressed(even when he did not want to and I had to chase him to get him!) Grandma Great coming to get her hair done was great she went red it was so cute on her! I hope she likes it. Me getting Tegan off the bus, He tried to tell me that his friends mom was not home so that he needed to come to our house! Silly kid I know his mom they were home! Came home finished grandma's hair and she made them a corn dog, because they were fixing it by them seleves cooking it in the Microwave at 21min long ( I think they were done)
Grandma went home and Teg had been playing the xbox( I hate that thing right now) He did not listen and was yelling at me, ty called said will ya come get me yep, changed a stink bum and left, tegan still mad and lecturing me the whole way! (Frustration) Dad gets in car, hears teg doesn't say much then stop please, Me (frustrated say something dad), get home I need to get dinner done before hair comes so I can eat, Potstickers and rice yum! Ty helps, teg yells about chores and homework some more, I yell (frustration), cut hair, help with homework, he chooses to yell at me I walked away. He came and we did homework and he did great(LOVE) Tub, and boys laughing and playing(LOVE), Mom came and looked at my tree (I will post later) Boys played and laugh with fam! They love breena and bryan! Scriptures and prayers, water spills after being told to sit still listen and stop! Dad's upset, puts his foot down me (finally), then teg crys we feel bad and explain to help him understand! (LOVE)!

Easter Weekend 2009

Good Times I must say! Saturday we went to the BIG Easter egg hunt at Thanksgiving point! We went with my mom and brother! WOW lots of people and lots of eggs! It was fun! But I wish parents were not so I don't know how to say it maybe childish is the word. I don't want to offend anyone, but it is for ages 0-3 or 4-6 and there was some bigger kids out there I must say please just let your kids get the eggs not you! OK, but it was fun and Teg had a blast it was very cold! I would do it again just because they had other fun things to do for the kids! We then had a Easter party at Grandma Bonnie's house and had a blast with the kids they are at such fun ages! The best part was Emmett was there he is my nephew who has the heart defect and had just come home from his last surgery and has been doing great! I was so glad to have us all together as a family! Then we went home to dye Easter eggs which Tegan has done before but, I think he is starting to get the concept! The reason I am not so sure is because of his comment! This is from his own mouth! So I was getting the stuff ready for the eggs and I said "Are you ready to dye the eggs?" Tegan "Mom don't kill the eggs!!!" Me "I'm not going to kill them" Not understanding what he is saying! Tegan again"Mom don't kill the eggs please mom" then it registered "OH" "No honey we are going to color the eggs". Then he was OK with what we were going to do! We only did 12 eggs and the Easter bunny hid them all and we did find them all thank goodness! He was very excited to have the Easter bunny come but he made sure that I new that he did not want the bunny to come in his bed because, Dad had told him that the Easter bunny likes to nibble on little boys ears. So of course that made him scared! Sunday we went to my Grandma's for a hunt and had really good food and fun! She is such a cute Grandma and started to cry when we all left, she has had a lot happen for the better in the last couple of months and these moments we have are even more close to heart now! I have pic that I will post but my battery says it is exhausted!
